i want to design 4 QAM modulation of free space optical communication with refer this example of picture , so i want to remove for this exmaple OFDM and i want to use same design of simulation , could you help me that please

You may use the example (Coherent 4 QAM.osd) for guidance on QAM4 modulated signal transmission. It is located at the following link. You may use direct detection if you require that by replacing the coherent detection part.
