I realized an optical transmission scheme with the co-ofdm technique and 4QAM, when I change the value of QAM to 16qam or 32qam the bER becomes 1
please what is the solution to get a BER lower
Start with B2B scheme (without any Transmission fiber), if it got better then the problem with the fiber parameters like nonlinearities and dispersion. if there was no improvement in BER in B2B then remove (minimize) the system noise or change the power level!
