Hello,
To perform joint simulations with MATLAB, you can use the MATLAB component. I strongly suggest you to have a look at the MATLAB examples which can be found at: C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\OptiSystem 22.0 Samples\Software interworking\MATLAB co-simulation
You can use the ‘View Signal Visualizer’ to export the output signal in .xls format and .txt format. Also, all the waveform viewers allows you to export data in .txt format which you can further process in MATLAB.
Also, you can directly plot and view your data at the receiving end of the QPSK system by writing a MATLAB code. Please refer to the example at: C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\OptiSystem 22.0 Samples\Software interworking\MATLAB co-simulation\BER analyzer example
Make sure your MATLAB code matches the format of the ‘BER.m’ code.
Hope this helps?
Feel free to write to us at support@optiwave.com if you have any further questions.
Warm Regards,
