Hello,
You can load files with specific parameters into the single mode and multimode fiber components in OptiSystem. These parameters could be attenuation, GVD, Aeff, n2, etc… for SMF and modal delays for Linear Multimode Fiber component, refractive index profile for Measured-Index Multimode Fiber, and so on….
Please check the datasheet for the format of the file and units.
