Works now. I used a trick: make the User Function additive and overlay it with a usual dielectric that is absorptive. You have to take care to create the dielectric first though, otherwise you overwrite it.
Still it would be interesting to know if you can add an imaginary part to the refractive index in the User Function Profile directly. Does anyone know how to?
