Hello FAYIQA NAQSHBANDI,
for transmitting data wirelessly you need to convert the signal the optical signal from optical to electrical domain. once the data is in electrical domain (decoding the data into bit stream or original message form will increase system complexity) so you just assume some wireless fading channel (Such as AWGN, rayleigh, rician etc.) and then transmit the data wirelessly and demodulate and decode at the wireless receiver. this way you can decrease the system complexity.
moreover you can directy extract the data also in the wired portion but in this case again you need to do modulation of the info streams i.e. modulator then channel and demodulator that is the receiver all you have to do for the wireless portion and for this better to use MATLAB, because you find some sample codes of online that you may tae as reference. Thanking you.
Regards,
Dhiman
