If you have already chosen the diversity scheme from a paper and you are want to know how to implement it using OptiSystem and Matlab, the first thing you should do is to carefully go through the Matlab co-simulation tutorials in OptiSystem. You can access them in OptiSystem samples folder on your PC. You can also find some videos on Optiwave website in this regard.
