Before assisting further, I would like to have some more information from you:
1. Which simulation tool did you installed?
2. Can you please share the snapshot of the files installed on your PC for that particular software?
The software installer should install the necessary files and dependencies along with the Application examples in Documents folder.
I suggest you uninstall the software completely and re-install the softwre.
