I’m using OptiSystem 22.0 to simulate an FSO link with the Universal FSO Channel component. A Gaussian beam is fed into the channel, and I tested it with both the built-in phase-screen file from the example and a phase-screen file I generated myself. I also enabled as many relevant options as possible in the component settings.
However, when I inspect the output with Spatial Visualizer, only the phase distribution shows distortion, while the intensity distribution remains Gaussian and appears unaffected by the phase screen.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Does anyone know the cause or a solution? Thank you.

I am LI ZEHUA a PhD student from Kyushu University in Japan. I used the student free trial last month but I did not achieve my target because of the universal fso channel component. I am still wondering the reason so I sent an email to the support email adress. Thank you so much for reply.
