There is a bidirectional FBG in OptiSystem by the name “Uniform FBG Sensor”. You can find it in the component library. I urge you to look at it’s Help document to correctly model it. You can use that to model your Erbium doped DBR fiber laser.
It is also possible to build bidirectional FBG using the current components in OptiSystem but this is available only upon request. And this service is only available for the licensed users. If you have a valid license, can you please share the license serial number?
