I was wondering that in OptiGrating4.2.3 could I insert a segment of grating which period is equal to its length with only 1 segment to configure it as a F-P cavity in optical fibers. In order to make it as chrip-FPCavity-chrip fiber grating structure
Is it useful? Is it result close to the real one?

Hello,
I recommend using the FBG component in OptiSystem. There are couple of examples on FP lasers in OptiSystem example library.
