Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

HI, I have been trying to design a FSO channel
my design is — PRBS – 10 gbps , cw laser wavelength 1550 nm
fso channel length – 1 km and refractive index scintillation is in the order of 10^-15
I am not getting a proper constellation at the receiver. please check and tell me where is the lag
what should be the modulator and demodulator frequency? and what should be the m-ary threshold detector values. plz help I am very much confused in this
I am attaching my design. thank you
Hello,
