Hello…. What is the minimum acceptable value of the Q-factor and bit-error rate when working on a transmission frequency of 112Gb/s

typically with such high data rate you are using advance modulation schemes to transmit the data. This means that symbol error rate (SER), error vector magnitude (EVM) and bit error rate (BER) are your metric for the quality of the transmission.
