Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hello, I need your help please.
I want to optimize the transport spectrum( Bit error rate, Data rate ) in the migration of GPON to the NG-PON1 passive optical network and I would like to koz if it is possible to write optimisation algorithms on optisystem 17 ? If is possible, why can I do ?
I look forword to your valuable help.
Thank you very much.

Please Ahmad, I have not found an answer to this question. I want to optimize the performance of Coexisting GPON and NG-PON1 network with algorithms. Is it possible to write these algorithms on Optisystem? If yes, how ?
Hello Leonard,
Yes, you can make the design in OptiSystem.
Please refer to the examples in OptiSystem Example Library located at the following link for more information.
