Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hello,
I have a problem with OptiSystem. I am trying to simulate DWDM link and before MUX Optical Power Meter and WDM Analyzer the optical signal have strong power, but when I measure the signal at out of MUX it is disappear.
I also tried with Ideal Mux – result is the same.
I attach OpitSystem project. Please help me resolve this problem.
OptiSystem version 17.0.0
Thank you.
Best regards,
Adrian Celej
Hello,
We’ve checked your project. It is not working because you are not using optical null at the input ports of the components that doesn’t have signals. Any component that you are not feeding signal to its input port must have a null to allow calculating it in OptiSystem.

Ahmad
