Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hello everybody
Please, there is one of you who can explain to me the difference between an XOR gate using the SOA-MZI configuration, one based on XGM and another based on XPM under optisystem 7.
cordially
Hello Samia,
The two effects XGM and XPM are different in their initiation conditions. Attached please find a reference on XGM in SOA. There are examples on XPM in OptiSystem example library located at the following link. You may check it for more information.

thank you Ahmad;
I made a small example (attached) of an XOR gate but I don’t know that it is based on XGM or XPM?
Please can you tell me !!
regards
sorry

Hello Samia,
you may email me the project as a zip file to ahmad.atieh@optiwave.com.
I’ll check the project and comment on it.
