I am having a doubt in optic fiber designing,For lower alpha I am getting a flatter graph but for higher alpha value there is a slope.Please guide me to attain the correct graph.I have attached the following result below.

Yes, I see that with alpha = 0, the line is straight. With alpha = 2, it appears curved. OptiFiber seems to be running correctly and the result is exactly as expected. What do you mean by “the correct graph”? What do you want from it?
