Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hello everyone,I want simulate and analyse the optical ring resonator as optical switch please suggest me how can i use optifdtd to do so?
Thank you!
Hello Sandeep,
You will need to be more specific regarding what you are having issues with. If it is using the software in general I would recommend you check out the Getting Started link on our website where it walks you through the creation of a ring resonator.
Also you should check out our webinar videos located here. There are many introductory videos on OptiFDTD that will help you get things rolling.
