I have tried to develop 5 user MD code based OCDMA system using FBG and direct detection. when i simulate the system, each time BER respose varies but at least 2 receivers’ BER response generated Nothing. I want to know reason behind it or any solution for the same. System is attached here with.

There are few examples in OptiSystem on OCDMA that can be found in the example library at:
C:\Users\xxxxxxx\Documents\OptiSystem 15.2 Samples\Metro and access systems\PON and CDMA systems
and
C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\Documents\OptiSystem 15.2 Samples\Software interworking\OptiGratingYou may use the base design to example to 5 users.
Which OptiSystem version are you using?

Thank You for gentle response. I will surely go through those sample systems.
I am using OptiSystem vesion 15.
the problem I am facing with designing system are:
1) How to simulate for higher users 2) how to get constant (almost near around range) BER e.g.e-14, e-13, e-15 For all active users. Currently I am getting large variation in BER for each receiving users.
I have attached file for same here named md_5use2WWhen I try to go for White light the system doesn’t work. File for same I have attached named as DD SAC.
Can you please point out my mistakes to overcome above problems and suggest probable changes?

I tried above system.
but Actually while implementing SAC-OCDMA with MD code
e.g if I consider 5 users with code weight 2
code will be U1= 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 U2 = 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 U3= 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 … U4 and so U5.
Now I am allocating wavelength = U1 = 1550.1 and 1551 U2= 1550.2 and 1550.9 …spacing of 0.1 nm for each wavelength for users.
at receiver end I am using same grating value to detect signal using direct detection. But I can’t. And I even tried to change power levels and also sample rate.Can i get solution for same?

We provide “full” technical support to only users with valid maintenance and support license. Please let me know if you have such a license.
What I recommend you to do is go through the examples I’ve mentioned earlier and use them to debug your project.Regards,
