  Hello,
  i have optisystem 15 that i am trying to interface with matlab R2018b. I have added matlab component in my .osd but when I check box ‘Load MATLAB’, it does not load it showing me window calling out ‘other program is busy’ and giving me option ‘Switch to’, ‘Retry’ with ‘Cancel’ grayed out. Ideally i’d expect that it opens MATLAB command window and once i run the program, run my matlab component quickly. Well, nothing close to that is happening.
  What am I missing?

  Hello Nikhil,
  could you please let us know which Matlab version and OptiSystem version do you have? We found a compatibility issue in the latest update of Matlab that was done late last month.
  Would you be able to send me a zip file of your project to debug it here?
