Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Sir on which basis Bandwidth of rectangular optical filter is decided. If frequency is 1550 nm then how BW is 2 nm.
You can convert to bandwidth in hertz as follow:
Delta_f = ((speed of light)/wavelength^2) * Delta_wavelength.
for your data up in free space, then
Delta_f = ( (3*10^8) / ((1550*10^-9)^2) ) * 2*10^-9;
for fiber communication, do not forget to divided by refractive index of fiber ( such as 1.5 for silicon)
thanks,
