Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hi all,
I work with an OFDR system. I want to detect and analyze Rayleigh backscatered signal through the fiber. The backscattered signal has to be detected using a balanced photodetector along with the reference signal. What should I do?? Please help
there is example for the Rayleigh backscattering in the webinar hold on March7. you can use it as a starting point. for the BPD I answered your question in another place.
best of luck,
Mohamed
Thanks sir. Can I get the web-sight link for that webinar?
just search on google about webinars in Optiwave. then you will fine describing nonlinear phenomena in optical fiber one.
you need to register in the website, and the presentation will be sent to your email.
thanks
Mohamed
ok sir.
ok sir
