Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

hi all,
i want to simulate bidirectional GPON but the shape of the DS eye diagram is strange , how can i fix this
Hi Mohamed,
tI do not see your eye diagram weird. if you mean you want to improve the results accuracy just you have to send more bits (i.e. increase sequence length from the global parameters of the project). But if you want to improve the system performance itself, you can decrease the propagating channel length, decrease the dispersion effect, increase the the power of the received signals toward the photodetector,…so on.
hope this helps,
thanks
Mohamed Abouseif
thank you
that was helpful
