there are few examples that exist in OptiSystem that you may use for your project. They are based on scripting.

You can change the OSNR by combining a white light source with your laser source.On changing the power of white light source,the OSNR may be changed and you can get OSNR value by using a WDM analyzer or Dual port WDM analyzer which will show you the OSNR value and corresponding BER too.
