hope you all will be fine
i have a problem in implementing optical clock recovery (OCR) for 3R regenerator implementation.Please refer to the attached system disgram,where optical data signal is splitted into two parts.One part is fed to the delay and other part is fed to the OCR.How to implement OCR block in optisystem???i am confused with the OCR block in the figure attached as CW laser is modulated only by an external bit stream via any one of optical modulators but here in OCR block how to convert optical data signal into electrical and then RZ format and then CW is modulated by it.?????
Please help me in clearing this confusion.i will be highly obliged to all of you
