Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Dear all
refer to file attached
i am working to generation of high order UWB pulses by using doublet pulses
please let me know how to implement “dispersive element”in optisystem and “VDL” with negative and positive co-efficients?
Is anyone can provide the simulation file?
regards
jawad
Hi Muhammad,
Interesting project. For the VDL I believe you can use our “Time delay” component under Passives/Optical.
For the dispersion element your best bet is to use our single mode optical fiber. Cheers!
Dear Marc V
thanks for your kind reply.i am obliged for your help
thanks
