Dear All,
Can any one help me to understand how to defined chirp function.
I have to provide .dat file which include 2 columns per line. the first column is the grating period, and the second column is the chirp period. I can’t understand the second column. Is the second column is the position of the grating period in the corresponding first column.
I am reading now the attached paper and try to simulate the spectrum of the chirped FBG. the expected spectrum has a notch as mentioned in the paper.
What I done is:
write the attached matlab code wrt the attached paper.
take the results of LAMDA from matlab workspace.
put them in .dat file to use it as user defined file in optisystem program.
the expected spectrum isn’t produced… why? this may be because of misunderstanding the used defined file.
can any one help me understand how to defined chirp function file?
