As far as components that are already present in the optisystem as suggested by Aabid are concerned i believe u should try to limit ur design in optisystem only as its quite cumbersome to interface other softwares. But if in ur case u require those components in the design that are not present in optisystem then there certainly are some options of external software in optisystem like matlab, simulink, scilab etc. But from all these i would suggest u to call a simulink model in which u can design the wireless part or thinking of the other way around u can even call ur optical part of the project in simulink as well. Depending on the requirements of ur design u can choose any of the options. Hope it helps.
