I have design a system using 16-QAM. Now I want to analyze or compare the results with 64-QAM or 4-QAM, what valuse or variables need to change to make the system work for these modulation formates? and what If I want to get result for QPSK. I am working of Direct Detection OFDM.
      Thanks in advance.

      Hi Yasir,

The most important difference between the configuration of 16-QAM and 4-QAM systems is that they have different values for the symbol rate parameter in their layout parameters. And since many filter bandwidths are set according to symbol rate, changing it would change the bandwidths. Please see if it helps.

      Hi Yasir,
Did you mean you have already designed 16QAM DDO-OFDM? Or you want to design it and then compare it with 4QAM and 64QAM?

Hi Gokul, My perception is that Yasir has already got the results for 16-QAM. I am saying this based on the fact that he has asked for the changes that need to be done to implement the other two systems correctly.

By the way, I forgot to point out in my comment yesterday that QPSK and 4-QAM are the same Yasir.

Hi Alistu, I was trying to know whether Mr. Yasir had already designed 16QAM OFDM which works fine because I couldnot get that information from his topic. Thanks.

You’re welcome. What I mentioned was merely my perception of what he meant, though.

      Hi Ranjeet,
Thanks rangeet i found your replies always helpfull. can you please guide as the Q factor and BER are very low in above file you attached.
how can it be made to acceptible range.
      Thanks in advance

      Dear Members
I am trying to desogm Nyquist half cycle optical communication sysyems based on iuntensity modulation-direct detection configuration (16 QAM).
Unfortunatelt the BER is 0,5 at B2B. The attached file contains the system unsder observation.
Looking forward to see any comments or help
