  How can I draw an elliptic or circular wave guide in the xy axis (not xz) using OptiFDTD 32bit designer?

  Use the 3D shapes drawing tool to make a cylinder and then in the cylinder properties you can rotate it by changing its Azimuth to 90 degrees.
