If you did not manage to open the file, your version is older than the version he is using. Optisystem newer versions support the older ones.
Dear Hager! I took a cursory look at your simulation and found nothing. But studying the whole paper and then matching your simulation with the one in the paper takes a great deal of time. I think if you, please, give a short summary about the system and your expectations from the results, more members would be willing to help.
I agree with alitsu….we need a better explanation of the problem you are seeing to help you.
