please i need your help
as i need any information about polymer fiber dispersion i need exactly the dispersion equations for polymer fiber
thank you for all
Hello mohammed,
The question that you are asking has been addressed in multiples researches. It is known, that dispersion, in general, is classified on modal and material (do you have multi-mode or single-mode fibers?). It’s depends on the index profile as well. I am attaching you a link to a well-performed study on your question that gives the overall dispersion equations for polymer fibers. Please, see the link below: http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?tp=&arnumber=848400
The study (from provided above link) considers full dispersion model based on evaluating the frequency response of the fiber instead of the direct calculation of the pulse broadening (which is the other way to approach this problem). I hope that, after careful reading, this information will help you to clarify your question. Good luck with your study!
