Home › Forums › SYSTEM › How to perform cross-correlation between signature signals and message signals
I am a user of Optisystem. In my recent multiuser BPSK coding system simulation, I need to perform cross-correlation between signature signals and message signals. Is there a component in the optisystem library that can accomplish the cross-correlation function?
Thank you for your attention
If you have access to Matlab that would be the fastest and easiest way to do it. The DSP component will calculate the cross correlation between the compensated signal and the original, but I do not think there is an explicit component for calculating the cross correlation between two signals.
If you don’t have Matlab let me know there might be another way to do it.
Thank you Damian, I have Matlab.
You’re right, it is easy to calculate cross-correlation through Matlab.
Yes
You can use the MATLAB & develop on component for Optisystem to find the cross correlation.
If you do not have Matlab, maybe you can use excel after you export the data in a spreadsheet.
Yes it will be very simple approaches.
Thanks
