ParticipantI HAVE DESIGNED OFDM MODULATION SYSTEM, BUT I WANT TO USE DIFFERENT TRANSFORM LIKE FAST HARTLEY TRANSFORM AND COSINE TRANSFORM BUT I OFDM MODULATION BLOCK ONLY FFT IS AVAILABLE. SO HOW TO ADD DIFFERENT TRANSFORM TO OPTISYSTEM?
OR HOW TO DESIGN SUCH NEW SYSTEM. - April 22, 2015 at 2:33 am #20031
Dr Rk Sethi
ParticipantHEMANT PARDESHI Hi,
You can do your design and simulation using “Co-simulation Matlab-Optisystem”
Initially you define and generate the desired “FAST HARTLEY TRANSFORM AND COSINE TRANSFORM” data signal in Matlab. Subsequently, transmit data from matlab to Optisystem.
Further do the desired analysis on the data signal in the Optisystem and then bring them back to matlab to complete the analysis.Regards

ParticipantHi hemant,
The best way would be to use “Matlab Component” in Optisystem. This way you transmit data from Optisystem to Matlab, so you wouldn’t have to work in Matlab environment.
Just keep in mind that you cannot use a different transform in Optisystem OFDM block and you have to use co-simulation.
Regards
