Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

i want to change FWHM of signal ?How to change it????
Hello everyone
I found FWHM in optisystem,But in optical pulse like gaussian transmitter. Can we change FWHM in NRZ electrical modulation format?????
Hi Abhishek Shrama,
Can you, please, clarify for me how you define the FWHM for NRZ format? In this, case the duration of your Gaussian pulse is equal to the duration of your modulation bit interval. Or I am missing something? In my opinion, this parameter is assigned to Gaussian pulse and appears as its essential characteristic.
Thank you Ravil,i ent through this and found, only Gaussian pulse hase FWHM.:)
You are welcome, Abhishek! Good luck with your studying and your research!
Thank you 🙂 you have been very helpful
