Dear Members
Currently, I am working on FSK Signal generation in radio over fiber system.
My Goal is to optimize the system on 9 or 11 or 12 Gbit/s. But good results are obtained on 8Gbit/s system Bit Rate.
As shown in the picture in attachement.
Please guide me… How can i obtain good results on 11 or 12 Gbit/s.
Hi Abdullah,
What are the minimum BER requirements for your designed system? (based on Rec. ITU-T, etc.) Trying to understand what is your goal?
Dear Ravil
Uptill now, we have not set the minimum BER requirements. However, it should be less than the BER that is achieved at 8Gbit/s. Actually we want to optimize the system on 11 or 12Gbit/s system bitrate. Because 8Gbit/s is already achieved.
Please Find our reference research Paper in attachment.
Please guide us how is it possible to optimize the system at 11Gbit/s or 12Gbit/s
try to reduce the noise , by using amplifier or by improving the simulate condition
You can yuse optimization tool to get the min BER
Hi Abdullah!
In general, there are 2 ways you can try to handle your issue:
1.Check possible distortions due to dispersion in optical fiber.
2.Try to adopt other coding for your scheme and observe the impact.
Follow up questions:
Is there any connection b/w MZM and coupler in Fig.1 of the document you attached? Is there any error correction technique used?
