Good afternoon,
How can I do a transmission spectrum like the one of the attached image? It is a plot of normalized transmission versus wavelength, I am using the 32bit free version. The structure is like one of the tutorials, the example simulate wavelength holes in a metallic film.

Hello!
Thanks very much for the answer, but to calculate the transmission spectrum, transmission versus wavelength, can I only use observation points or can I use observation areas too? For me I think that it will be more useful observation areas.

ParticipantYou can use both, but yes you would want to use an area detector to find the normalized transmission.

ParticipantHi Miguel,
I think in this case you should used multilayer structures of quarter-wave stacks. Each additional stack will broaden your area. -
