      in this tutorial that related to this sample:

      Power Level Management in Optical Metro Networks

      how i able to produce Figure 5 in the previous link and how i make link failure between OXC 1 and OCX 2 or a problem at node 3, while node 1 wants to send data to node 4
      because i am delete the link between oxc1 and oxc2 through node 3 , i found no output at BER analyzer and how i adjust ” user defined bit sequence generator ” to transfer OXC from state 1 to 0 like Figure 2: Functional diagram of OXCs

      Dear ahmedbasuony, are you trying to perform 2 tasks (produce a link failure b/w OXC1 and OXC2 and induce the problem at node 3) at the same time?

      Can you also provide the screen shot of your scheme? Cause I can’t open your file with my version of OptiSystem…

      i am already make the link between oxc1 and oxc2 open through node 3 and i found no o/p
      and you can find this file in the ‘sample folder’ in the optiwave installation directory for your optiwave system and you can open it

      Hi ahmedbasuony, do you know why we have 2 splices and 4 connectors for each node? (trying to understand the underlying calculations…)
