Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hi
I have a time driven optical feedback loop in my design and the global parameter “Iterations” is set to 10
everything is fine with this design and I get the results from OTDV with different “signal index” (0-9)
but I cant find the proper syntax for saving 10 signal indexes into 10 txt files
I’ve tried GetXDataAt(K,i) but this one only works for “Sweep iterations” not signal indexes
Hi Tess,
Could you please attach your project file and any other relating files?
Thanks
Hi Tess, just want to make sure you are using the right number of indices: are you running your iterations and signal indices for the same amount? Did you try to give the same numbers for them?
Would be easier to understand if you upload the pic of your scheme (just in case if we are using different versions of OptiSystem) …
