Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

IN MANY RESEARCH PAPERS WHEN A LIGHT SOURCE IS SPLITED SAY IN 90:10 ATTENUATOR AND DELAY LINE IS USED .CAN U PLEASE EXPLAIN IT.
I don’t understand the question…can you link a paper as an example?
Thank you for yr concern.Paper is attached where attenuator and delay line is used.See diagram for xnor logic.
I agree with Ravil, the fiber will delay the signal so you need to incorporate a delay in the dual signal as well.
Its Nor logic
If fiber is used as a polariz. controller then that delay must be compensated. This my first guess…
