Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiSystem is a comprehensive software design suite that enables users to plan, test, and simulate optical links in the transmission layer of modern optical networks.
OptiInstrument addresses the needs of researchers, scientists, photonic engineers, professors and students who are working with instruments.
OptiSPICE is the first circuit design software for analysis of integrated circuits including interactions of optical and electronic components. It allows for the design and simulation of opto-electronic circuits at the transistor level, from laser drivers to transimpedance amplifiers, optical interconnects and electronic equalizers.
OptiFDTD is a powerful, highly integrated, and user friendly CAD environment that enables the design and simulation of advanced passive and non-linear photonic components.
OptiBPM is a comprehensive CAD environment used for the design of complex optical waveguides. Perform guiding, coupling, switching, splitting, multiplexing, and demultiplexing of optical signals in photonic devices.
The optimal design of a given optical communication system depends directly on the choice of fiber parameters. OptiFiber uses numerical mode solvers and other models specialized to fibers for calculating dispersion, losses, birefringence, and PMD.
Emerging as a de facto standard over the last decade, OptiGrating has delivered powerful and user friendly design software for modeling integrated and fiber optic devices that incorporate optical gratings.

Can u please solve the problem of Bit error rate.i am designing gain flatness in Edfa_Wdm system and i tried so many papers on that topic to get good result but in every paper i got very big value of bit error rate. i want to know how can we improve bit error rate and what factors it depends. i attached my file
Hi,
There was a small problem with your WDM 1×2 component. I believe you were trying to determine the BER of a single frequency channel. If that’s the case then you need to make sure the channels of your demux match up with the channels that are being transmitted. Attached is a quick fix I made to your project file. Just look at the properties of the WDM 1×2 component to see the changes I made.
Regards
thanks a lot for helping but the project file u have attached is not opening.may be because i have optisystem 7.i can try to open this project file on optisystem 12.
can u please tell me in which version u have edited above project file because your edited project file is not opening in optisystem 7 and optisystem 12.
Sorry about that! The project was saved in OptiSystem 12.2. If you can’t open it you can try fixing it yourself. I just changed the channel frequencies in the Demux component. They should be changed to 193.11149 THz and 193.81412 THz.
thank you so much for helping me…….
Hello,
I would like to have a design project of a WDM optical fiber for a long distances.
