Optiwave software can be used in different industries and applications, including Fiber Optic Communication, Sensing, Pharma/Bio, Military & Satcom, Test & Measurement, Fundamental Research, Solar Panels, Components / Devices, etc..
OptiOmega is a collection of products specialized for photonic integrated circuit simulation. It automates the design flow for
generating compact models from device level simulations. The software package includes two solvers that can be used via
Python scripting: Vector Finite Difference (VFD) Mode Solver and Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Electromagnetic Solvers.

Hi All,
It would be great to hear an expires in PON Simulations.
Especial, is it possible to make a simulation in GTC (GPON Transport Convergence), QoS and synchronization issue.
Best regards,
Edvin
Hi,
We have a few examples of passive optical networks on our website (and in your Samples folder). Here is a BPON example:
Broadband Optical System Based on a Passive Optical Network (BPON)
I think that simulating transport convergence and synchronization issues may be outside the scope of OptiSystem, since it is a physical layer simulation tool.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
