Doubts in parameters,Sub-wavelength Holes in Metallic Film (FDTD)

Good evening ,

I have some doubts regarding to the example of the tutorial Sub-wavelength Holes in Metallic Film .
First, why in the profile Channel_Air is chosen a width and thickness of 0.2um?
Why is chosen for the default waveguide, in the Initial properties Box, the SiO2 with a width of 0.2um?
In the X-Y area what is the center depth?
In the definition of the input wave I don´t understand the halfwidth, in 3D Transverse. Why is chosen for the center position Y 0.4125um instead of half of the period?
