Currently, OptiSystem doesn’t have an FDTD component. However, you may design it in OptiFDTD then load it to OptiSPICE using S-parameters then to OptiSystem. I am not certain that this process would work (never tried!) However, we’ll have a diffraction grating component in the next release OptiSystem 17.0.
